Welcome to a slightly different blog… From now on Ali will be writing a purely climbing blog and I’ll be covering the “other stuff”. So if you want the beta on his latest crushes click HERE, or read on for the more fluffy stuff from our travels and non climbing life...

Montsant Via Ferrata

Well after a fantastic summer in the UK and Canada we're now back in Spain. The summer is still in full swing here so we decided to take advantage and went up to Montsant, doing a short but sweet via ferrata to get moving after the long drive from the UK...

Big metal rungs make climbing so much easier than usual!

Cool mini suspension bridge

Nearing the top of the route on the sun drenched slabs

Nice views despite the haze - I love Montsant!

Montsant through the patriotic streets of Morrera de Montsant - support for Catalan independence here!

It's getting into grape season in Priorat too... so all in all a fruitful day :-)
